The Perk Valley STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Expo is completely online this year!!
COMMotion was asked to partcipate/present in the Expo, so we made a video answering the following questions:
What are we learning?
We're learning about how the environment - the people and cultures that inhabit it - impacts our perception and thought processes.
Why are we learning it?
We want to figure out how we can use alternative methods of communication to spread ideas and to spread positive change
How are we learning it?
We're doing research on cognitive science and creating dance films addressing various social issues - racial inequality, the effect of social media on womens' body image, bullying, income inequality, etc.
